Mani Ratnam joins hand with Vikram
The ace tamil film maker Mani Ratnam is about to start his next venture with Chiyan Vikram. The discussion of the project is still under pipeline. Reliable sources indicate that Aishwarya Rai will be the pair for chiyan in this project.Prithiviraj will be playing a role with negative shades and Priyamani has been choosen to pair up with him.
Ilayathalapathi Vijay and Prabhu Deva teams up again in VILLU
After an average hit of Kuruvi, Vijay is about to start his next venture "VILLU" under the direction of Prabhu Deva. The first time they came together was in 'Pokiri' which turned out to be a blockbuster. According to certain sources, this movie is going to be a remake of bollywood film 'Soldier' which was directed by Abbas Masthan and starred by Booby Deol and Preity Zinta in 1998.
Nayanthara will pair up with Vijay and this movie is to be produced by Ayngaran International. The first production of Ayngaran International was Billa 2007 (joint production) starring Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar which turned out to be a super hit. They are now set to produce Shanker's Robot starring our Superstar Rajinikanth simultaneously with Ilayathalapathi Vijay's VILLU.
This film's music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Dasavatharam cameraman Ravi Varman will be the cinematographer and it is likely to be shot in Austria, Italy and Switzerland. The comedy track of the movie is assigned to Vadivelu. Bijju Menon will be the main villain in this venture.The filming of VILLU is slated to begin on 7th June 2008 in Palani.
