Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya is a forthcoming tamil romance film directed by Gautham. Simbhu plays the lead role with Trisha. Music is scored by Academy Award winner ARR and editing is done by Anthony. This romantic film will be hitting the screens on 12th February in conjunction with Valentines Day. The chemistry between Simbhu and Trisha looks very energetic although its too early to say anything conclusive until we watch the movie. The audio, stills and trailer are out and managed to create a positive impression. The songs can be downloaded here

Ajith's Asal Trailer

Asal is Ajith's 49th movie which will be hitting the floor on 5th February 2010. This movie is more to a stylish action-thriller. This film is directed by Saran and produced by Ramkumar Ganesan and Prabhu Ganesan. Ajith in the lead role, who is also credited for the story and the screenplay of the film. Sameera Reddy and Bhavana essay the lead female roles. The film also features Prabhu,Suhasini,Suresh,Sampath Raj and Pradeep Rawat in the prominent roles amongst others. Music is scored by Bharadwaj and the songs can be downloaded here

Ajith's next with Gautham Menon

Ajith is currently busy with his 49th movie Asal under the direction of his "lucky" director Saran. If sources to be believed, this movie will hit screens on 5th February 2010. Meanwhile, Thala's fans keen to know about their icons' next venture which is 50th movie in his filmography. Sources insists that it's neither Vishnuvardhan nor Venkat Prabu who might wield the megaphone but now the focus is on Gautham Menom. It looks like Ajith and Gautham discussing on the storyline and might be start shooting after the release of Asal and Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. Since Ajith's Billa and Asal is taken in a stylish manner, its very sure that his next venture which is Golden Jubilee for Thala also will be executed with the same trend.More updates and official confirmation are expected soon.

Ilayathalapathi's Vettaikaran is doing good business all around the world..Eventhough the story line is simple and as old as the hills, the execution and Vijay's energy level boosted the trade. Vettaikaran has nothing new to offer as Vijay follows his usual formula, but it caters to the mass audience who want their dose of masala mix. Another reason for the success is non other than the Sun Pictures.
Recently, Ilayathalapathi Vijay met Sun Pictures’Kalanidhi Maran to thank him for astounding success of Vettaikaran.The film has already garnered a record collection and the theatres are expected to be filled up even further.

Vettaikaran Releasing on 18th December 2009

Finally, our Ilayathalapathi Vijay's upcoming Vettaikaran is all set to be released on December 18 a week before Christmas. The movie was has been given U/A by the censor board. Some scenes were re-shot as per Sun Pictures request and now the movie is going through a final phase of post production. Trailers will be let out soon officially by Sun Pictures. So its been a happy news for all Vijay fans to hear the release date after quite a lot of confusions.

Hope this movie will take place in Vijay's blockbuster list...
